Moonworks Apothecary was created in 2010 when I began selling my soap and candles on Etsy. I've been a soap and candle maker since the early 90's, and I owned an online candle and fragrance oil business.

I started making my own potions and ritual oils using essential oils in 1996 and sold my products in local new age and metaphysical stores.

Along with the potions, I hand rolled beeswax candles, made hot processed soap, body products, hand poured candles, and room sprays.

Prior to opening Moonworks Apothecary, I sold oils, candles, wax melts and room sprays under the name of The Torch and Key.

The difference in the 2 stores is that Moonworks Apothecary only uses essential oils and organic herbs whereas The Torch and Key uses fragrance oils, essential oils and glitters.

I put my business on pause for a few years to work a full time medical job and to participate in my sons' school and sporting events.

After my kids were grown, I reopened my stores because I missed it, it's my passion and I will always have some sort of little shop for as long as I can!

I've also worked with a local paranormal group as a medium and tarot reader and was introduced to Reiki in 1996 and immediately had my first degree attunement.

I’m a solitary practitioner and I work with energies, nature and the elements. I venerate my ancestors and follow an earth-based path.

I'm also a passionate genealogist and I've been researching my family's history since early 2000.

I'm the only employee and I wear all the hats! I have a dedicated shop at my home where spirit has led me to create oil recipes using essential oils, herbs and botanicals with organic carrier oils. By using these ingredients, I am capturing the highest vibration and energy of the plant.

Creating oils for others is a huge passion of mine and I take it seriously.

My creative side loves pretty smells and glittery things and that's why I've reopened The Torch And Key. I love creating beautiful smelling body products and delicious scents for your home.
